At Fresh Delights, we take pride in the quality and freshness of our cakes. Because our products are perishable food items, our returns and refunds policy is designed to be fair while maintaining high safety and hygiene standards.

1. Returns

Due to the perishable nature of cakes and baked goods, we do not accept returns once the product has been delivered and accepted by the customer.

We strongly encourage you to inspect your order upon delivery. If you notice any damage or if the wrong item has been delivered, please inform the delivery personnel immediately and do not accept the order.

2. Refunds and Replacements

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged Product: If the cake is smashed or significantly damaged during transit.
  • Wrong Item: If you received a different cake than what you ordered (e.g., wrong flavor, wrong size).
  • Quality Issues: If the cake is stale or unfit for consumption (proof required).

To request a refund or replacement, please contact us within 1 hour of delivery with photographic evidence of the issue. We reserve the right to deny a refund if the complaint is made after this timeframe or if the damage was caused by mishandling after delivery.

3. Order Cancellations

We understand plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours before delivery: 100% refund.
  • 12-24 hours before delivery: 50% refund.
  • Less than 12 hours before delivery: No refund, as preparation would have already started.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days. The amount will be credited back to the original payment method used during the purchase.
